Reflections For 2008, Predictions For 2009

2008 a year of great success and one year was marked by deep sorrow filled. 2008 is not what was, was a quiet year, and whether the world have stood a better place for that is unclear.

The Russian invasion of Georgia has chilled relations between Russia and the West, a revival of the Cold War may be on horizon. Comminuted show Tibetan monks protest in the streets, that freedom of speech is not a God given right for all. The continuing unrest in the Middle East is notmore messages, but simply a part of daily life in the region.

Close calls with Hurricane Gustav in New Orleans and the water lapping at the edge of overload charges caused concern that the lessons of Katrina are still not fully learned. The heartbreaking destruction of Hurricane Ike in Galveston and the Texas coast shows that the U.S. has made progress, it is not yet equal to Mother Nature. Nature's fury still resonates still a heavy hand. As terrible as the desperation in Galveston,it pales in comparison to hit the cyclone Burma / Mynamar, taking the lives of more than 100,000 people in the region. China, which was considered by many a rising world power, no match for the 8.0 earthquake that collapsed buildings as building blocks.

By changing the political leadership, we see frequent changes. Unfortunately, Fidel Castro's resignation in 2008, did nothing to Cuba from the dictatorship forces with Raul Castro stepped into the leadership role in the free-tinyIsland.

Early in the year 2008 was living the Hollywood writers strike in 2008, the Americans, in fact, without television. Regardless of the break from television, technology certainly played a role in the 2008 elections.

The structure of American political debates on issues with YouTube under the initial phase showed how the technology influenced the U.S. presidential 2008 election. Obama uses technology to his election as Vice-President of his voters was only the tip of the texticeburg when it came to the role of technology in the U.S. 2008 election. The radical domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright were concepts. Joe the Plumber, Joe Six Pack, and the average Joe were all invested in the U.S. presidential 2008 election.

The historic 2008 U.S. presidential primaries and the election resulted in many premieres. Ultimately, Sarah Palin, the first female vice presidential candidate of the Republicans and the GOP's Rising Star, back to Alaska and the U.S. crown passedits first African American president on the opening day in 2009.

In the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China presents it's best. Michael Phelps has his mark in history, breaking Mark Spitz's record of swimming medals, and Dara Torez break a report on their own.

Tens of thousands of babies ill Tainted baby formula in China in 2008. The United States was not immune to tainted food. A widespread outbreak of salmonella caused a number of diseases in the United States.

The senseless deathof children as Precious Doe, Caylee Anthony, and in the hands of those who assume they were dear to show how desperate some things are in this age of technology.

The world in 2009, is sorely lacking in some legends, passed in 2008. Heath Ledger's senseless death, and the celebrated actor Paul Newman, the maximum lifetime of benefits missed. The world also lost the comedic genius George Carlin and Bernie Mac as well.

The world's largestLarge Hadron Collider proton beam of high energy collector was to be used effectively, while the world is not swallowed into a black hole. Unfortunately, shortly after the examination, the economic markets imploded. The world economy crash devastated retirees who invest a lot in the marketplace, to forget that the stock markets not only upward but downward. A sad reality is, if their savings and taken down the reality of their investments in the market by nearly 40% for the year inNovember.

Based on considerations in this year I made some predictions for the year 2009.
